Air/Ocean Import Coordinator (#35666)

A global logistics company is looking for an Air/Ocean Import Coordinator in the George Bush Intercontinental Airport Houston area nearby Humble, TX.

Responsibility of Air/Ocean Import Coordinator:

*Arrange logistics to perform the contracts with suppliers and customers. Logistics arrangements shall be punctual based on instruction from the front office and fulfill the requirements of customers.

*Act as a liaison between customers and the internal front/mid-office.

*Communicate with US Customs Brokers, trucking carriers to ensure smooth logistics operations.

*Create Bill of Lading (B/L) for local and regional transportation.

*Monitor and control inventory of railcars, trucks and storage tanks, which are used for distribution business.

*Work closely with third parties associated with logistics including customers, surveyors, freight forwarders, terminals and other logistics companies.

*Receive pre-alert from origin office and send arrival notice to Customs Broker.

*Assists with the monthly and quarterly closing including schedule control of closing operations.

Requirements of Air/Ocean Import Coordinator:

*Degree related to supply chain management is a plus but not required

*Proficient in MS Office software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint

*Excellent oral/written communication skills

Helpful:

*Knowledge of HAZMAT, Inco-terms, CBP regulations

• *Ability to speak following languages: Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Thai, Vietnamese, Tagalog
