Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Tagalog language specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate legal documents from English to Tagalog with precision and accuracy.
• Proofread translated documents for clarity, consistency, and adherence to legal terminology.
• Collaborate with our team to deliver high-quality translation services.
• Stay up-to-date with current legal terminology, best practices, and industry updates.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of experience in translation or a related field.
• Fluency in Tagalog.
• Certification in legal translation (e.g. CTP, ATA, AOC).
• Experience working in a state department, refugees, court/ legal setting, or familiar with legal terminology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a foreign language, linguistics, or a related field.
• Experience with professional publications.

Working Conditions

• This position requires flexibility and the ability to work independently as needed.
• Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
• May be asked to work flexible hours, including holidays and outside of normal business hours.
