Job Overview

The Billing Clerk is responsible for preparing, processing, and maintaining all billing-related tasks for construction projects. This role requires a high degree of accuracy, the ability to work with multiple project managers and subcontractors concurrently and must have a solid understanding of construction billing methods such as AIA progress billing and time-and-material invoices.

Responsibilities

Prepare progress billings, unit price, and T&M billings in accordance with contract agreements.
Ensure compliance with customer requirements for submission, lien waivers, stored material, vendor waivers, and insurance certificates.
Utilize construction billing software such as Quickbooks
Compile data and reports, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Communicate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors.
Handle lien waivers, change orders, and payment applications.
Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with billing requirements.
Assist with other administrative and accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of billing or accounting experience, preferably in Construction Industry.
Strong understanding of construction invoicing, lien waivers, and project billing.
High attention to detail, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
