The Kauaʻi District Health Office is hiring a bilingual Para Medical Assistant (PMA).

The PMA I will provide support services to DOH programs and work as a direct line of support to limited or non-English proficient populations. This position is a civil service, full-time appointment for in-person responsibilities. For more information regarding the application, please CLICK HERE.

More about this position

As PMA, your role will be to ensure understanding of health promotion and education of your clients, while providing meaningful access to DOH services. You will conduct follow-up visits, evaluations, and bilingual health education on preventative health measures, health resources within the community, and state DOH regulations.
