The Kauaʻi District Health Office is hiring a bilingual Para Medical Assistant (PMA).

More about this position

As PMA, your role will be to ensure understanding of health promotion and education of your clients, while providing meaningful access to DOH services. You will conduct follow-up visits, evaluations, and bilingual health education on preventative health measures, health resources within the community, and state DOH regulations.

Working independently as bilingual public health staff and in community outreach.

work with limited resources,
follow slow-paced processes, and
attend community events after office hours and on weekends (occasionally).
