We are looking for professional bilingual All Languages and English remote medical interpreters who want to join an international company. Over-the-Phone (OPI) Interpreters at LanguageBridge Solutions. Who will play a vital role in ensuring effective communication between Non English-speaking patients and healthcare providers. In this rewarding position, you will serve as a bridge, facilitating understanding and enabling patients to receive the care they need. It is essential that the candidate can understand and interpret a variety of medical-related terminology and be knowledgeable about various medical processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Answer calls in a professional manner, acting according to the Interpreter's code of conduct, HIPPA and FWA.
Be always prepared to take notes during a call.
Be aware of the specific vocabulary of the industry the interpreter works with (healthcare and medical one, specifically).
Participate in a in-house professional training.
Communicate and report to your team leader.
Provide accurate and impartial interpretation services during medical consultations, medical terminology, procedures, instructions, information between Non English-speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare professionals and other healthcare interactions.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all patient interactions
Participate in workshops and coaching opportunities to enhance your interpreting skills

Qualifications:

Proficiency/Bilingual/Native level of English and target language (Spanish).
1+ years of interpreting experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare systems.
International certifications in the healthcare industry are a plus (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).
High school or equivalent diploma.
Strong emotional intelligence and a deep respect for diverse cultures.
High level of communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
Fluency in both Spanish and English, with the ability to interpret between the two languages seamlessly.
Strong ethical principles and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Certification as a medical interpreter or equivalent experience preferred.
Taking a Language, Terminology testing, and background check is required.

Requirements: Since this position is fully remote, you should comply with several technical requirements for your computer. We need to ensure that your home office will work effectively.

Ethernet connection (Wi-Fi is not allowed). Internet speed of 10Mbps Download/Upload. Make sure you comply by running a simple test at speedtest.net (A technical verification with our tech support team will be taken)
Your computer or laptop should be Mac or any other model with MacOS 10.13 or Windows 10 or newer, with Minimum: I3 processor. Recommended: i5 / i7 2.4 GHz and above.
Your working machine should have a 4 GB RAM Minimum (8GB recommended).
We require noise-cancelling wired USB Headsets.

What we offer you:

Rate of $0.35/minute to $0.65/ Minute interpreted which is between $21.00 - $39.00 Per hour
Monthly Payments.
Fully remote position (Work from home)
Full-time or part-time position (business and weekend hours available).
Immediate availability to start working after onboarding.
