Tagalog-Speaking Filipino Caregiver – Home Care

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Filipino/Tagalog-speaking caregiver to provide quality in-home care services for clients in the Dallas County area.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patients’ health status by checking vital signs and observing changes in condition
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences while maintaining proper hygiene standards
• Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety
• Support patients with memory care needs such as Alzheimer’s or dementia by implementing specialized techniques and routines
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization tasks
• Document patient observations, care activities, and any incidents meticulously for compliance and continuity of care
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to update care plans and ensure comprehensive patient support
• Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive environment for clients

Qualifications

• Fluency in Tagalog with excellent communication skills; proficiency in English is preferred
• Prior experience working as a caregiver in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable
• Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques, vital signs measurement, and medication administration
• Certified in CPR and First Aid; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are advantageous
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, or dementia is preferred
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper techniques or assistive devices when necessary
• Strong observational skills with the ability to recognize changes in patient condition promptly
• Compassionate attitude with excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity

Compensation

Your starting pay will be based on your experience, availability, and client care requirements.
