Tagalog-Speaking Filipino Caregiver – Home Care

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Filipino/Tagalog-speaking caregiver to provide quality in-home care services for clients in the Dallas County area.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patients’ health status by checking vital signs and observing changes in condition
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences while maintaining proper hygiene standards
- Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety
- Support patients with memory care needs such as Alzheimer’s or dementia by implementing specialized techniques and routines
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization tasks
- Document patient observations, care activities, and any incidents meticulously for compliance and continuity of care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to update care plans and ensure comprehensive patient support
- Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive environment for clients
Qualifications
- Fluency in Tagalog with excellent communication skills; proficiency in English is preferred
- Prior experience working as a caregiver in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques, vital signs measurement, and medication administration
- Certified in CPR and First Aid; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are advantageous
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, or dementia is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper techniques or assistive devices when necessary
- Strong observational skills with the ability to recognize changes in patient condition promptly
- Compassionate attitude with excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
Compensation
Your starting pay will be based on your experience, availability, and client care requirements.
