IN-PERSON Tagalog Teacher TUESDAYS 5-6 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team in teaching the Filipino language, culture and history. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting student engagement. This role requires creativity, patience, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. Teaching experience is required, along with fluency in the Tagalog language.

Duties

• Implement and improve upon engaging lesson plans.
• Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, providing constructive feedback to enhance their academic growth.
• Collaborate with fellow educators.
• Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student performance and classroom activities.

Experience

• A degree from an accredited university is required.
• Previous teaching experience is required.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent Tagalog/Filipino communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students of varying ages and backgrounds.
