Marketing Specialist (Filipino Market, 3 Months Temporary)

- Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of experience in marketing, social media management, or content creation,
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Canva, and video editing software (e.g., CapCut),
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Filipino and English,
- Experience building external partnerships for marketing and vendor onboarding,
- Deep understanding of Filipino culture, food trends, and community dynamics,
- Passion for food and cooking, with expertise in crafting and sharing Filipino recipes,
- Hands-on experience with influencer marketing and Facebook Community Groups,
- Background in eCommerce or food delivery is a plus
What the job involves
- Weee! is seeking a Marketing Specialist for the Filipino Team who is passionate about creating effective new user campaigns and delivering community building initiatives,
- This role will manage all things community – from social media, online community, offline community, and partnership management,
- They will oversee new user acquisition through lifecycle marketing channels,
- Oversee and grow the Weee! Filipino Facebook Group and all social media channels to increase engagement and user acquisition to build trust and excitement,
- Create compelling UGC and cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Consumers to promote product collections across online communities and Facebook groups,
- Plan and execute online community events, leveraging opportunities to keep the social media communities and Facebook groups active,
- Build local community partnerships that will contribute to new users and overall brand awareness,
- Engage with Filipino bakeries, restaurants, and small businesses to have them onboard on the Weee! platform to improve overall customer shopping experience,
- Stay updated on food trends and community preferences to ensure content is current, relevant, and resonates with the target audience,
- Draft and deploy in-app pages, website landing pages, emails, and push notifications triggered by the community events for the Filipino storefront,
- Collect product feedback and customer pain points from the communities, to support the merchandising and marketing teams to curate customer-oriented content and SKUs,
- Own and improve product description pages for key products,
- Provide weekly performance reports, summarizing insights, findings, and actionable recommendations for improvement
