We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver in Duarte who is fluent in Tagalog, and comfortable cooking Filipino meals.

This caregiver will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of home community care practices and be committed to upholding resident rights while ensuring a safe and clean environment. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and companionship.

Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
Monitor patients' health status, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment for clients.
Maintain a clean and safe living space for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring the safety and comfort of clients during mobility assistance.
Uphold resident rights by treating all individuals with dignity and respect while maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in home health or caregiving roles is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of home community care practices and patient monitoring techniques is highly desirable.
Familiarity with medication administration protocols and HIPAA compliance is essential.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required to assist clients effectively.
Strong cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals tailored to client needs.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
