Schedule:
- Set schedule (Monday-Friday either 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm.)
- Occasionally, working Saturday or Sunday for special events.
- Full-time is between 32-40 hours per week.
Job Summary:
As an Inside Sales Representative for Infusion & Specialty, you will play a critical role in driving sales and fostering relationships with healthcare providers and patients. You will be responsible for promoting our infusion and specialty pharmacy services, educating clients about our products, and ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through outreach to healthcare providers, clinics, and hospitals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with Field Sales Representatives to seamlessly transfer qualified leads, ensuring all relevant information is communicated for effective follow-up.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of specialty medications and services to effectively communicate benefits and usage to clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting with inquiries, referrals, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the pharmacy team and healthcare providers to ensure smooth communication and coordination of care.
- Track and report on sales activities, forecasts, and outcomes to management, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in healthcare regulations that may affect the pharmacy's offerings.
- Analyzing data on patient needs and purchasing patterns to refine marketing strategies and identify more potential markets.
- Preparing marketing plans and strategies for company meetings.
- Writing reports about market conditions, trends, and potential changes in patient/provider preferences.
- Attend mandatory weekly team meetings.
- Analyzing competitors' performance to safeguard and further promote our position in the market.
- Provide valuable insights and updates on client interactions, market trends, and competitor activities to assist Field Sales in refining their strategies
- Support Field Sales by engaging with potential clients through calls and emails, nurturing leads until they are ready for in-person meetings.
- Collaborate on key accounts to ensure a unified approach, aligning both inside and outside sales efforts to maximize client satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain visibility of the sales pipeline, providing updates to Field Sales Representatives and coordinating efforts on high-potential opportunities.
Qualifications
- An associate degree in marketing, with an emphasis on customer service, is preferred.
- Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Strong communication, written communication and interpersonal skills is required.
- Ability to understand and convey complex medical information.
- Knowledge and experience in SalesForce and Microsoft Office are preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- A passion for helping patients and a commitment to providing outstanding service is required.
- Proven record of helping lead sales campaigns and facilitating profitability.
- Goal-oriented, committed, and relentless approach to work.
- Interest in understanding and sharing industry innovations.
- The ability to make 20-30 calls per day is required.
- Professional presentation and articulation are required.
