Access Interpreting is actively seeking certified, professional, and experienced healthcare spoken language interpreters to fulfill video remote (VRI) and on-site (OSI) requests in the Washington metropolitan area: District of Columbia-Maryland-Virginia (DMV)
This is a freelance opportunity. You can accept requests according to your availability!
Accepting applications for ALL languages, especially: Cantonese, Mandarin, Fuzhou, Hokkien, Tagalog, Tigrinya, and Amharic.
We offer competitive rates according to expertise and experience, premium rate and travel fee for OSI requests, convenient mobile app to manage your assignments, and access to our in-house scheduling and invoicing platform.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Location: Washington metropolitan area (DMV) and throughout USA.
2. Certified and/or Accredited Healthcare/Medical interpreters-provide supporting documentation.
3. Minimum Years of Experience since Accreditation/Certification: 2 years
Preference will be given if you have:
a. CHI/CMI Certification
b. Bachelor’s degree in any field, especially in Interpretation/Translation/Linguistics.
c. Formal Academic Training in Healthcare/Medical Interpretation
d. Valid HIPAA training certificate.
