Are you fluent in English and another language? Are you looking to put your bilingual skills to work while making a difference in the lives of others?
We are actively seeking multilingual professionals nationwide to join our network of Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI). This is a flexible, remote opportunity with training provided, ideal for individuals passionate about language access and interested in medical, legal, or customer support.
No prior interpreting experience required – just a strong command of both English and another language, and a desire to help others.
Languages in Demand (but not limited to):
Spanish, Haitian Creole, Arabic, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Russian, Korean, Portuguese, Somali, Farsi, Amharic, French, Tagalog, Swahili, Urdu, Bengali, Hmong, and more.

Responsibilities:
- Accurately interpret conversations between English and non-English speakers via phone
- Maintain professionalism, impartiality, and confidentiality at all times
- Facilitate clear and effective communication in a variety of settings: healthcare, legal, social services and customer support

Qualifications:
- Fluency in English and at least one other language
- Excellent listening and memory retention skills

- High-speed internet and a quiet workspace (for remote calls)
- Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality
- Prior interpreting experience or education is a plus, but not required
- US citizenship or Work permit
