About the Role
Are you a strategic sales leader who thrives on building relationships, developing new markets, and driving revenue? LBC Express is looking for an Area Manager – Sales & Business Development to spearhead growth across Northern California, Oregon, and Washington. You’ll focus on expanding our customer base, forging B2B partnerships, and coaching our field teams to exceed targets—while supported by experienced logistics staff who handle daily operations.
This is a growth-focused leadership role ideal for someone with strong communication skills, business development experience, and a passion for helping small businesses and communities thrive.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute regional sales strategies that drive new business and expand market share.
· Lead and coach front-line teams to meet and exceed monthly revenue and unit targets.
· Identify and build relationships with key commercial accounts, community partners, and influencers.
· Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and local demand to adjust tactics accordingly.
· Collaborate with Marketing to deploy local promotions and campaigns that support acquisition and retention.
· Work closely with logistics and operations teams to ensure alignment and service excellence.
· Represent LBC at community events, expos, and in partnership engagements across your territory.
Qualifications
· Must-Haves:
· 5+ years in sales, business development, or market expansion, ideally with multi-location oversight.
· Strong leadership and team management experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
· Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, CRM tools, and reporting dashboards.
· Some background or experience in marketing, promotions, or campaign planning.
· Willingness to travel regionally to visit branches and attend events.
· Nice-to-Haves:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
· Experience working with multicultural markets or community-based outreach.
· Ability to speak Tagalog or familiarity with Filipino culture is a strong plus.
