Adult Day Health Care Center is seeking to fill Program Aide positions.

Job Description:

Under the supervision of the center Registered Nurse and Activity Director, the position will be responsible for providing assistance with all activities of daily living including: transferring in/out of wheelchairs, transferring to/from bathroom, ambulating, hygiene/grooming, dressing, feeding, driving, and meal preparation. This position also is responsible for providing assistance with exercises, games, and recreational activities.

Candidate Requirements:

Must be energetic, dependable, able to read/write English, and able to complete a physical clearing them to lift 50+ pounds. Upon hire, the candidate will also need to obtain a negative TB test (testing available on-site).

Candidate Qualifications:

Sociable personality to engage with our participants and be proactive.

Personal care experience or experience working with the disabled population highly desirable though not required.

English/Spanish/Tagalog/Arabic speaking and previous CNA experience desirable but not required.

Hours:

Shifts are Monday thru Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Part-time, flexible, NO EVENINGS OR WEEKENDS.
