Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Male Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Duties:
- Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Support individuals with autism or other special needs
- Administer first aid when necessary
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure client confidentiality
Skills:
- Experience in caregiving or related field
- Knowledge of nursing home procedures and protocols
- Ability to work with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Understanding of social work principles
- Proficiency in first aid techniques
- Previous childcare experience is a plus
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
- Capability for heavy lifting when required
- Comfortable using systems for documentation and reporting
