Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, particularly seniors or individuals with disabilities, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life. This role requires a blend of caregiving skills, patience, and a commitment to maintaining resident rights.

Schedule

We are currently seeking an individual who is available to work Wednesday through Saturday as a live-in caregiver. This schedule may require overnight stays and includes room and board accommodations during the working days.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
Clean and maintain the living environment to ensure a safe and hygienic space for clients.
Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
Administer medication as prescribed and assist with mobility support.
Uphold resident rights by respecting privacy and dignity at all times.
Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals or family members.
Provide direct support in accordance with individual needs, including emotional support and encouragement.

Experience

Previous experience in caregiving or home health is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Familiarity with CPR and First Aid techniques is highly desirable.
Knowledge of senior care practices and resident rights is beneficial.
Experience in social work or direct support roles will be considered an asset.
A caring attitude and strong communication skills are essential for building rapport with clients.
