OroMed, a mission-driven nonprofit medical clinic, is seeking a full-time Certified Dental Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant to serve as the essential connection between patients seen in person and a dentist working remotely.

This role offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $21 to $23 and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and is passionate about providing exceptional patient care.

This is a full-time, on-site position, Monday through Friday.

8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Are You a Good Fit?

We’re looking for candidates who have:

A high school diploma or equivalent
Certification as a Dental Assistant
Certification as a Medical Assistant
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Fluency in one or more of the following languages is a strong plus

Bonus Points For:

Familiarity with dental tools, terminology, and procedures
Previous experience in healthcare or a customer-facing role

Your Role in Action

As our Certified Dental or Medical Assistant, you will:

Coordinate virtual oral health appointments using telehealth platforms
Collect medical histories, capture diagnostic data, and organize patient records for remote dentist review
Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through the virtual visit process and answering questions
Maintain accurate documentation while demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality
