Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical or mechanical engineering, with current experience working within data center projects.
- Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Experience working in a travel-heavy role is strongly preferred, as is experience working at international locations. Foreign language experience (Spanish, Arabic, Filipino / Tagalog, Hindu / Urdu, French or Portuguese) is a BIG plus!

Stetson Global is seeking experienced Electrical and Mechanical Engineers to hire on full-time with our client, a global firm with assets and projects worldwide. These Data Center Engineer / Data Center Technician positions will support the construction and commissioning of data centers. This position requires 100% travel with all expenses paid and exciting work guaranteed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, with specific experience in data center or other mission-critical projects. This role involves overseeing the electrical/mechanical systems from design through to implementation, ensuring they meet industry standards and project requirements.
Other responsibilities may include:
- Commissioning Planning: Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules for data center projects.
- System Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of electrical, mechanical, and IT systems to ensure they meet design specifications and operational requirements.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed commissioning reports, including test results, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
- Coordination: Collaborate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all systems are installed and functioning according to industry standards and best practices.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues that arise during the commissioning process.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Training: Provide training and support to operations staff on newly commissioned systems.
Lastly, candidates need to have strong verbal and written communication skills , with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse cross-functional teams (Planning Teams, facilities, vendors) and provide clear, concise technical guidance to various stakeholders.
