Summary
We are seeking an Interpreter to join our dynamic team at inlingua. Located in the US, this role is crucial for facilitating communication across diverse languages and cultures, contributing significantly to our mission of effective language education.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate interpretation services in various languages
- Facilitate communication between speakers of different languages
- Assist in the development of training materials related to interpretation
- Collaborate with trainers to enhance language learning experiences
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism during all interactions
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions
- Ensure clarity and accuracy in all interpretations
- Support students in their language acquisition journey.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Interpreter or similar role
- Multilingual proficiency with a strong command of at least two languages
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with interpretation techniques and practices
- Bilingual capabilities are highly desirable
- Knowledge of linguistics is a plus
- Certification in interpretation or translation is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
