As our founding Director of Nursing (DON), you won’t just lead care — you’ll help design the systems, set the standards, and shape the future of our agency. We’re looking for a mission-driven, detail-oriented, Florida-licensed RN ready to lead from day one.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Serve as Director of Nursing for our AHCA license application
Lead clinical oversight of skilled and non-skilled home health services
Supervise RN, LPN, and HHA teams; review all plans of care
Develop and manage policies, procedures, and clinical protocols
Oversee quality improvement, incident tracking, and survey readiness
Ensure regulatory compliance with Florida Chapter 400 and 59A-8 F.A.C.
Participate in on-call RN rotation and provide field coverage when needed
Collaborate on hiring, onboarding, and mentorship of new staff
Act as the primary clinical contact for AHCA reviewers and auditors

What You Need:

Active Florida RN License (Required)
At least 2 years of home health experience
1+ year in a supervisory or leadership capacity (DON, RN Manager, etc.)
Experience with AHCA rules, OASIS documentation, and plan of care reviews
Must pass a Level 2 background screening (or willing to complete)
Must be listed on AHCA application as DON
Reliable transportation and valid FL driver’s license

Bonus Points For:

Experience with Alora, Kinnser, or Axxess EMRs
Wound care or IV therapy certifications
Bilingual (Spanish, Creole, or Tagalog)
Past involvement in a startup or new licensure process

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
