Under the supervision of the Director of Vocational Services, provides overall administrative support to the RAMS Hire-Ability vocational program. A primary focus of the CJP Manager is to coordinate services, guide and support team in meeting/exceeding program objectives and supervises the CJP Staff - Case Manager, Trainer/Job Coaches and Job Developers in an effort to increase CalWORKs participant’s employability through a job readiness and job preparation program that includes vocational skills training and paid work experience.
Job Duties
Essential Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provides direct supervision of the CJP staff, including weekly staff and team meetings
- Work collaboratively with the Director in completing Performance Evaluations and making recommendations with regard to recognitions of excellent performance and verbal and written warnings for unsatisfactory performance.
- Provides leadership for CJP program. This includes oversight of the contract and on-going communication with the contract funders .
- Reviews and keeps track of all referrals, documentation and input into Salesforce and Launchpad
- Promotes and presents CJP to community partners, treatment providers, families, consumers and others.
- Acts as a liaison between RAMS and HSA
- Works collaboratively with the RAMS Hire-Ability Management Team .
- Trains staff on Salesforce and Launchpad, monitors data entry accuracy.
- Monitors staff on appropriate documentation requirements (Salesforce and Launchpad)
- Prepares monthly statistical data and report(s)
- Reports to director regarding staff compliance in the following areas: charting and performance objectives.
- Provides CJP staff with consultation regarding rehabilitation and other issues.
- Hire, train, and support CJP staff in meeting/exceeding performance objectives.
- Assists director/associate director with revising of the Hire-Ability Policies & Procedures manual.
- Attends client review meetings as needed.
- Attends related outside community meetings as needed.
- Attends HSA contract compliance meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required
Minimum Required Educational level & Experience (Any combination of experience and education listed below that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities are qualifying)
:
- A bachelor’s degree (required) or master’s degree (strongly preferred) in a Human Services or Business field, and
- At least 3 years of work experience within Vocational Rehabilitation and 2 years in related management-level responsibilities.

Other
- Familiarity with community behavioral health systems of care in San Francisco, including the philosophy of care, levels of care for clinical services, and delivery of such services, highly preferred.
- Familiarity with the San Francisco community resources/services (may include health, mental health, substance abuse, vocational, housing, etc), highly preferred.
- Strong commitment to the philosophy, goals, & mission of RAMS in providing community-based, culturally competent, and consumer-guided mental health services to the community.
- Commitment to engaging in professional development activities such as trainings, continuing education seminars, case conferences, and reviewing up-to-date material, etc., as related to treatment strategies for the population of Hire-Ability Vocational Services.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively, function independently, and interact professionally with a diverse, multi-cultural, and interdisciplinary staff of all levels.
