Job Summary
The Vice Practice, a leading primary care and behavioral health clinic in Las Vegas, is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our dedicated healthcare team. This role focuses on delivering exceptional, family-centered care to pediatric patients from infancy through adolescence, while also contributing to the efficient operation of our private practice. The ideal candidate will combine strong clinical expertise with the ability to manage the day-to-day responsibilities of a pediatric practice, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive well-child exams, growth and developmental screenings, immunizations, and acute care for pediatric patients.
- Diagnose and manage common pediatric conditions, chronic illnesses, and urgent care needs.
- Educate patients and families on preventive health, disease management, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments, history, and evidence-based guidelines.
- Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging studies.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as appropriate for pediatric populations.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant documentation in the EMR/EHR system (Athenahealth).
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team—including behavioral health providers, medical assistants, and administrative staff—to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Assist in managing clinical workflows, staff scheduling, and patient flow to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, policy updates, and patient safety programs.
- Provide guidance to staff on clinical protocols and best practices in pediatric care.
Experience & Skills
- Current and unrestricted Nevada Nurse Practitioner license with Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification (PNP-PC or equivalent).
- Proven experience providing pediatric primary care in outpatient settings.
- Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems (Athenahealth preferred).
- Strong knowledge of pediatric growth, development, and preventive health guidelines.
- Skilled in pediatric procedures such as phlebotomy, immunizations, nebulizer treatments, and wound care.
- Familiarity with private practice operations, including patient scheduling, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and billing processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and build rapport with children and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of independence in clinical decision-making.
- Bilingual in English and Tagalog or Spanish is a plus.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
