Position Overview

We’re hiring a full-time, W-2-based Solar Closer to join our Los Angeles division. Your core responsibility is to attend high-quality appointments and close deals with a minimum close rate of 40%. When appointments are limited, you’re expected to self-generate through referrals, door-knocking, and creative outreach.

Key Responsibilities

Attend scheduled solar consultations (in-home or virtual)
Deliver persuasive presentations using company proposal tools
Maintain a minimum 40% close rate across all appointments
Submit contracts accurately and follow through to PTO
Proactively self-generate leads when appointments are unavailable:
Referral networks
Door-to-door outreach
Community events or social sourcing
Collaborate with team managers and installation coordinators
Maintain professional conduct, punctuality, and strong follow-up

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of solar sales experience
Proven close rate of 40%+ (must be verifiable)
Confident communicator with in-home or Zoom-based presentation skills
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and accountable
Familiar with SoCal solar market (especially SCE/LADWP)
Must be based in Los Angeles area or willing to travel daily
Bilingual is a plus (Spanish, Mandarin, Tagalog, etc.)

Compensation & Benefits

Monthly earnings: $8,000 – $20,000+ (Base + Tiered Commission)
